La fuerza de uno te tira, te empuja hacia el otro
el otro contrarresta su efecto y hace lo propio.

Eres menos que un pez,
que, al menos, nada,
eres como un barco sin velas,
como un bote sin remos
que se estrella contra las rocas.

Como la punta de Skagen,
entrel el Skagerrak,
y el Kattegat.
Allí donde los pájaros pescan fácil,
donde el viento derriba al débil
y el mar ahoga al que no nada.

Do you know what is the feeling of being between two seas?
The strength of one pushes over you, pushes you towards the other;
the other counteracts its efect and does so.

You are less than a fish,
that, at least, swims,
you are like a ship without sailing,
like a canoe without oars
that crashes agains the rocks.

Like the cape of Skagen,
between Skagerrak,
and Kattegat.
There where birds fish easily,
where Wind pushes over the weak,
and Sea drowns those who don't swim.
